The Blue Book of Poetry and Life (Now  available in paperback exclusively on Amazon)

This is a book for the ages that contains a wide variety of poems — the majority of which has not been previously published — relating to the color blue and all of the things in the universe about it and associated with it.

There are haiku, tanka, free verse, pantoums, sonnets, short stories, and more to choose from — more than 400 works to satisfy your appetite for poetry. I hope you enjoy your reading adventure!

Wild Writers: 5th Anniversary Edition

Why read this book? Because everybody – from the cosmic to the microscopic – has a story to tell. I have always wanted to know what goes on inside the heads of animals. Poetry was the tool that made this possible. “Wild Writers” allows us to have imaginary conversations with our pets and other creatures and empathize with them. Who knows? We might end up learning new things along the way. This 5th Anniversary Edition contains all of the poetry and art from the previous books in the series, and brings them together into a special anthology for your enjoyment today.

Comes in Kindle, Paperback, and Hardcover versions.

The Painting Portfolio: A Comprehensive and Current Collection of Visual Art

This book contains more than 500 pieces of visual art from the first 20 years of my life, including a wide collection of illustrations from my books and the more than 300 acrylic paintings I have produced since late 2019. I hope you enjoy this portfolio!

The Book of Matrix Poetry

The following is an in-depth introduction to matrix poetry, a form that I invented in 2018. This style scaffolds the best elements of cascade poems with the structure of a mathematical matrix. This book contains illustrated instructions and examples of matrix poems, as well as a variation of the format that should provide the reader with an interesting challenge to replicate.

The Emperor and the Swan: And Other Short Story Poems

This poetry collection is my anthology of the best longform fiction poems and short stories that I have written to date, condensing all of my short stories into a single volume for your enjoyment.

The Anthology Anthology: The Grand Gallery of Poetry and Art

“The Anthology Anthology” is the ultimate compilation of my poems and visual artwork, organized by format and genre (brevity, haiku, short story, etc.), and also according to the themes that they share (history, nature, romance, etc.). This book is the core collection of my life’s work, making it effectively an encyclopedia or portfolio of my entire creative career to date. I hope that you enjoy it!

The Condensed Poetry Anthology

This book is an extensive compilation of poetry. The goal is to consolidate them in one place for easy reference and creative depth. Without further ado, here are the poems that most defined the first ten years of my writing career.

Birthright 2012: A Voyage into the Heart and Soul of Israel

“Birthright 2012” is a personal account of my voyage throughout Israel. The outer story incorporates humor, science, history, and my own observations as I explore the land. It should appeal to the armchair traveler who would like to experience the country but is unable to and also to anyone who would like to learn more about this bastion of democracy in the Middle East. Beneath this outer story there exists an inner story. Filled with humor, philosophy, and poetry, this underlying aspect of the book follows my own personal voyage to self-awareness. “Birthright 2012” chronicles the daily activities of my University of Miami Birthright trip to Israel. Each chapter highlights a single day’s events, activities, and sights. The book is chock-full of deep personal insights, light humorous anecdotes, witty observations, and scientific and historical facts. I hope you will follow me on my journey through the Land of Milk and Honey.

My Masters Project in Marine Affairs, that assesses and compares the conservation policies that protect billfish – marlin, sailfish, and swordfish – in the United States, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. Through the use of ArcGIS (Geographic Information Systems) and a matrix/checklist of 78 distinct criteria, I determine which of the three countries could serve best as a model for highly migratory species regulation in the English-speaking areas of the Caribbean region. In July 2015, I presented my findings at the ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) User Conference in San Diego, before an international audience.
